How to make an Earth resonance device

Earth resonance devices are similar to a device first described by Dr. John Milewsky, to create what was later called MEOW water—magnetite-enhanced ormus water. Although Dr. Milewsky and others used magnetite sand, the authors of Dancing with Water have found that high-quality paramagnetic sand (with a µCGS rating of 8,000 or above) works even better. Paramagnetic materials amplify the resonant frequencies of the Earth known as ELF (extremely low frequencies) or the Schumann resonances; they also amplify the infrared wavelengths from the Earth and the Sun . Both frequency bands have been shown to bring molecular structure to water.* Paramagnetic sand creates a gentler magnetic field than magnetite; it is more suited for water. However, both materials can be mixed (six parts paramagnetic sand to one part magnetite) for a nice balance between the two. The authors of Dancing with Water have created a unique blend they call their Earth resonance blend, which also includes quartz sand (an amplifier tuned to the resonance of the Earth), garnet sand (highly paramagnetic as well as crystalline, to support water’s developing crystalline array), and mica (known to energize and amplify biomagnetic fields ). This combination brings coherent molecular structure to water; it attracts hydrogen, and it spins ormus elements that are present in the water, into their high spin state. Earth resonance (ER) devices make amazing ormus-enhanced water (when additional ormus elements are added to the water). When water is allowed to sit in an ER device for an extended period of time (several days), it acquires an exceptional smoothness and biocompatibility that are unequalled. It is much like the once-famous water from Japan’s magnetic mountain.

Make an Earth resonance (ER) device, similar to the ones pictured here.
1. Select a glass or ceramic vessel for your water. For this application, a cylindrical vessel is best. This facilitates the easy removal and replacement of the vessel in the enclosure. Dark vessels are ideal but not essential; they protect the water from direct light (water is best stored in darkness – see pages 82-83 and 111 in the Second edition of Dancing with Water).
2. Select (or make) two cylindrical enclosures. One of these (outer) will house the paramagnetic sand or blend; the other one (inner) will hold the water vessel. Cardboard or glass enclosures are better than plastic or metal. (Plastic interferes with water’s electromagnetic field, and metal dampens the effects of the magnetics ). The size of the enclosures is largely determined by the size of your water vessel. The outer enclosure should be at least 1.5 inches larger in diameter than the inner cylinder to allow for enough paramagnetic sand to interact with the water (3/4 inch or more all around). The smaller enclosure should fit the water vessel snugly without being too tight so that the water vessel can be easily removed. The inner cardboard cylinder is best when it is at least an inch taller than the outer enclosure. Ideas for outer cylinders are oatmeal containers and glass vases. These work well because they have a bottom . If you use an oatmeal box, you may want to reinforce the bottom so that the weight of the sand does not cause the bottom to fall out. You can also use shipping tubes cut to the desired length, and make a bottom. Ideas for the inner cylinder include smaller shipping tubes and poster board which can be used to make your own inner cylinder that fits your water vessel (see step 3-C below).

A) If you are using an outer cylinder with a bottom, the process is simple. Place the inner cylinder with the water vessel inside it, inside the outer cylinder – then fill the area between the cylinders with paramagnetic sand or a blend. Hold the inner cylinder carefully while you add a small amount of sand all the way around to get the inner cylinder evenly positioned. You may want to use silicone to adhere the inner cylinder to the bottom to make it more sturdy for adding the sand. You may also want to make your own orgonite base to fit inside the inner tube for the water vessel to sit on. This enhancement is nice; it adds additional energy protection for the incubating water, but is not essential.
B) If your outer cylinder does not have a bottom you can create one using a ceramic plate or an orgonite charging plate. Using silicone (ideally, select a brand that does not include mold inhibiting chemicals) seal the outer tube to the plate. Allow at least 24 hours for the silicone to dry before adding sand, then fill with sand as in 3-A above.

C) If you cannot find a shipping tube that matches the diameter of your water vessel, you can make one out of poster board. But because poster board is not as rigid as a cardboard tube, it is necessary to wrap your water vessel with a layer or two of poster board before making the actual inner cylinder. This will make the water vessel larger in diameter and compensate for the slight amount of compression that will occur as sand is poured around the less rigid inner cylinder. After you have wrapped your water vessel with poster board, make the inner cylinder by wrapping poster board around the water vessel (now with extra layer of poster board taped around it). Flatten the poster board out again and make a crease at the bottom end 3/8 to ½ inch in depth. Cut triangular sections out of this crease, so that when the crease is folded at a 90 degree angle and rolled around the water vessel, it can be adhered neatly to the base (as shown). Re-roll the poster board around the water vessel and tape it closed. Remove the water vessel (with its layer of poster board) and tape the inside of the cylinder for additional reinforcement. Adhere it with silicone to the center of whatever base you have chosen. Allow 24 hours for the silicone to cure before adding sand as in 3-A above. Be sure to leave the additional layer of poster board around the water vessel until after you have added the sand. This insures that after slight compression, the water vessel will still fit inside the home-made inner cylinder.
4. Cap with a stone sphere, a cork, or other natural material rather than a plastic or metal lid.
5. Add other enhancements as desired. Use any or all of the suggestions below:

  • Laminar crystal contains many elements in the ormus state. When it is placed in water, ormus elements are awakened, and hydrogen in the ormus state is drawn into the water from the atmosphere. Laminar crystal objects can be used by themselves or in conjunction with an ER device to awaken ormus and enhance water.
  • ANCHI Crystals also awaken ormus elements—even more rapidly than laminar crystal. They can be used by themselves or sprinkled on the top of the paramagnetic blend in an ER device.
  • Tensor Rings have a paramagnetic value of about 18,000 µCGS, as determined by Phil Callahan. They can be used by themselves or with an ER device to awaken ormus and to protect the incubating water.

Magnesium Bicarbonate: importance for water

The acid-base balance in blood is controlled by the capacity of the respiratory system to remove excess carbon dioxide—also by the ability of the kidneys to excrete wastes in urine, and by a buffering system referred to as the bicarbonate buffering system. The greatest limiting factor for neutralizing acidic waste in the human body is the availability of bicarbonates which act as antioxidants. Bicarbonates can be delivered in water. In fact, neither the blood nor water are healthy without them.

Neutralization of acids depends on the presence of buffers. For example, if you add a weak acid to a glass of water that has no buffering capacity, the pH will immediately drop—just as you’d expect. But, if you add the same amount of acid to a glass of buffered water, the pH will barely change. A buffer neutralizes acid, leaving the solution’s pH unchanged. In water and in the human body, buffers are predominantly bicarbonates.

The bicarbonate buffering system (like all buffers) is composed of a weak acid (carbonic acid — H2CO3) and a weak base (bicarbonate – HCO3-). Together, they work to keep the pH of the blood and other internal fluids within a specific range. In solution, carbonic acid dissociates into hydrogen ions (H+ ) and bicarbonate ions (HCO3-). When acids are added to a bicarbonate buffering system, the bicarbonate ions re-associate with H+ ions and re-form carbonic acid. This reduces H+ ion concentration (acidity) and brings the pH back up. Buffers neutralize acids by scavenging hydrogen ions (H+).

H2CO3 + H2O  ↔ H+ + HCO3-
Carbonic acid + Water  ↔  H+ ion + Bicarbonate

Bicarbonates give blood the ability to resist changes in pH. Even tiny variations in blood pH can disrupt vital metabolic functions. Bicarbonates also help natural water to resist the effects of acid rain, wastes from aquatic life and other acidic influences. Dramatic pH swings in rivers and streams can be equally devastating. The ocean, too, is buffered with bicarbonates. It is capable of neutralizing an enormous amount of acidic waste. Our bodies mirror the Earth’s oceans in so many ways.

Under ideal conditions in the human body, there is much more bicarbonate than carbonic acid (the ratio is approximately 20:1). This is perfect for biological organisms that produce acidic metabolic waste. The high bicarbonate concentration at equilibrium is able to neutralize considerable acidity. However under stress, bicarbonates become a limiting factor. Diet, pollution, exercise, and age all draw on bicarbonate reserves and limit the body’s capacity to neutralize and eliminate acids.

For well over a hundred years, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) has been used to increase the buffering capacity of the blood and the fluid surrounding cells. It is well known to control chronic acidosis. Sodium bicarbonate has been used for indigestion and heartburn for decades. Athletes use it to enhance endurance and to reduce recovery time because it neutralizes lactic acid. Sodium bicarbonate has many documented uses in emergency medicine (although its use is being rapidly phased out in favor of drugs).

Dr. Mark Sircus has been a proponent of sodium bicarbonate for many years. His recent book elaborates on its chemistry and function for human health. He writes,

Sodium bicarbonate is the time honored method to ‘speed up’ the return of the body’s bicarbonate levels to normal. It has blood vessel dilating action, [it] increases blood fluidity, assist[s] oxygen dissociation—thus more oxygen flows to the capillaries and cells… has strong anti inflammatory action, helps with detoxification and neutralization of toxic substances of all kinds offering strong and almost instantaneous shifts in pH. …The body is always hungry for bicarbonate unless you live in some pristine valley…

While sodium bicarbonate is a time honored favorite, Dr. Sircus admits that its virtues have nothing to do with the sodium. It’s all about the bicarbonates. Rather than sodium, (which there is no shortage of) other mineral ions are often more advantageous when delivered with bicarbonates.

The alkaline mineral ions
By themselves, the alkaline mineral ions (calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium etc.) are not easily absorbed in living tissues. They often end up as plaque, deposits in joints, and acid waste sequestered in fatty tissue. They can contribute to degenerative diseases such as osteoarthritis and atherosclerosis. However, when the same alkaline ions are carried with bicarbonates, they are more easily absorbed, and they participate as a part of a buffering system that, reduces arterial plaque, and age-related calcification. Bicarbonates can carry all the alkaline minerals.

Alkaline water vs. alkaline bicarbonate water
Alkaline water —including alkaline ionized water— is very different from water that has an alkaline pH due to the presence of bicarbonates. Alkaline ions affect the pH of water but they cannot neutralize acids.  (Read the article on alkaline water.) Most alkaline water products have few bicarbonates, little buffering capacity and almost no ability to neutralize acidic waste. On the other hand, bicarbonate water is mildly alkaline yet it has what is referred to as alkalinity—the ability to neutralize acids. Alkalinity is based on buffering capacity and the equilibrium relationship between carbon dioxide and bicarbonate.

Carbon dioxide and bicarbonate are two sides of the same coin. The only way bicarbonates become available is through the presence of carbon dioxide to produce carbonic acid. The balance between the two is at the heart of metabolic homeostasis. The complete equation for the bicarbonate buffering system begins with carbon dioxide:

CO2 + H20 ↔ H2CO3 + H2O ↔ H+ + HCO3-
Carbon dioxide + water ↔ Carbonic acid + Water ↔  Hydrogen ion + Bicarbonate

In mammalian cells, the continuous production of carbon dioxide (from ATP hydrolysis and other metabolic processes) requires a continuous supply of bicarbonates to maintain equilibrium and optimal buffering capacity. When bicarbonates become limited, the buffering capacity of the cells suffer.

Bicarbonates in the stomach
In the stomach, bicarbonate ions pass almost immediately into the bloodstream in exchange for chloride ions to make hydrochloric acid (HCl). Although it sounds counterintuitive, drinking bicarbonate water on an empty stomach actually stimulates the production of stomach acid (HCl). It is an ideal drink first thing in the morning and before meals—as long as adequate time passes before the consumption of food. Bicarbonate water actually prepares the stomach for digestion and helps to overcome the waning production of HCl that plagues older individuals. While such knowledge has nearly disappeared from medical texts, the Materia Medica (1918 edition) had this to say about the affects of sodium bicarbonate in the stomach:

The effect of an alkali in the stomach will vary according to the nature of the stomach contents at the time of administration. In the resting period (after food is digested) sodium bicarbonate dissolves mucus and is absorbed as bicarbonate into the blood, to increase its alkalinity directly. In the digestive period it reduces the secretion of gastric juice, neutralizes a portion of the hydrochloric acid, liberates the carminative carbon dioxide gas, and is absorbed as sodium chloride. The time of administration must, therefore, be chosen with a definite purpose. In continuous hyperacidity and in fermentative conditions a dose an hour before meals will tend to prepare the stomach for the next meal.

The use of bicarbonates is not new. What is new is the use of magnesium bicarbonate in water to enhance bicarbonate reserves, to stabilize the structure of the water,  AND to supply much needed magnesium in an available form.

Magnesium Bicarbonate
In 2002, Dr Russell Beckett, an Australian biochemist and pathologist, released a product called Unique Water—made with magnesium bicarbonate. The product was the result of years of anti-aging research that came together when a group of animals were identified in a remote area of southeastern Australia living 30 – 50% longer than other animals in the same region. After eliminating all other possibilities for longevity, the water was revealed to have an unusually high level of magnesium bicarbonate. Springs in the region that fed properties with the oldest cows had the most magnesium bicarbonate in the water.
Beckett’s anti-aging research had previously revealed animals that broke the longevity rules had evolved more efficient ways of neutralizing acid waste. He recognized the importance of bicarbonates in the spring water and at the same time, he recognized the connection between decreasing levels of magnesium and many ailments associated with age. The combination (magnesium and bicarbonate) was an obvious winner.

Early trials conducted with Unique Water over a period of two years showed reduced incidence of colds and flu with less severe symptoms. (Most viruses, including the ones that are responsible for the common cold and flu, are classified as pH-dependent. They are infectious only in an acidic pH range. ) Consumption of magnesium bicarbonate water apparently improved bicarbonate reserves and protected the participants in the study. Later clinical trials revealed positive changes in the bio chemistry of the blood (improved albumin levels) and positive effects on the parathyroid hormone which is correlated with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and atherosclerosis.

Another interesting note about the combination of magnesium with bicarbonate is that each component assists in the transport of the other within cellular tissues. Supplying magnesium and bicarbonate together in drinking water buffers and balances the water, and it supports metabolic functions that become compromised with age and many ailments.

Magnesium deficiency
Changes in diet (with more processed foods) as well as in water quality (where many individuals drink de-mineralized water) have significantly affected the average daily intake of magnesium. Unlike many other nutrients that are better supplied in food, water can be an excellent source of magnesium. Approximately 50% of the magnesium contained in mineral water is absorbed. This is greater than the amount absorbed from food. The ‘magnesium-in-water’ effect was identified years ago as beneficial for those on a low magnesium diet. As far as the authors are aware, no studies have been conducted to determine the absorption of magnesium from bicarbonate water. They suspect it is much higher than 50%.

The recommended adult daily allowance (RDA) for magnesium is anywhere from 360 to 420 mg per day, depending on age and gender. But as with all RDAs, this recommendation is well below optimal. Many researchers believe total magnesium intake should be at least 450–500 mg per day, and drinking water should contain a minimum of 25–50 mg/l. Unfortunately, most of today’s water contains below 6 mg/l of magnesium.

Blatantly ignored in modern medicine, magnesium deficiency is rampant, responsible (at least in part) for the increased incidence of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, asthma, arthritis, high blood pressure, chronic fatigue syndrome, attention deficit and many other conditions too numerous to list. Magnesium has been referred to as the “master mineral” because of its involvement in over 300 enzyme systems including protein synthesis, muscle and nerve function, blood glucose control, and blood pressure regulation. Magnesium is required for energy production and for the synthesis of DNA. It also plays a role in the active transport of calcium and potassium across cell membranes, a process that is important to nerve impulse conduction, muscle contraction, and normal heart rhythm. Supplying magnesium with bicarbonates is an incredible way to deliver a double benefit for your health.

Making magnesium bicarbonate water
Magnesium bicarbonate is a salt that exists only in water. (You cannot buy magnesium bicarbonate like you can buy sodium bicarbonate). It only exists in aqueous form as a result of carbon dioxide in the water and accompanying ionic magnesium. Beckett and others have devised ways of making magnesium bicarbonate water by reacting magnesium with carbonated water. There are several products on the market, including Unique Water available in Australia, MagBicarb Water (a concentrate), and a natural spring water from Adobe Springs, California branded under the name Noah’s Water. But you can make your own with carbonated water and magnesium hydroxide (milk of magnesia).

How to take magnesium bicarbonate water

Most recipes for making magnesium bicarbonate water call for making a concentrate—then diluting to a final concentration of approximately 125 mg/l Mg and 625 mg/l bicarbonate. According to Beckett, the maximum magnesium concentration that can be maintained in solution as magnesium bicarbonate is approximately 120 mg/liter at pH 8.3. Higher concentrations of magnesium can be maintained in solution at low pH and if chlorides (such as sodium chloride) are added to the water. The authors of Dancing with Water have found that one of the best ways to balance magnesium bicarbonate water and to optimize magnesium levels in the final solution is with the addition of unprocessed salts—especially Ocean Plasma. These naturally contain a balance of other bicarbonates (such as sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and calcium bicarbonate) and chlorides. The following recipe has been amended to accommodate the addition of unprocessed salts AND structured water for a final magnesium bicarbonate water that is balanced and rapidly assimilated on an empty stomach.

1 liter Carbonated water – chilled (also called selzter water; any brand – make sure it is just carbonated water with no flavorings or sweeteners. Don’t use Club Soda because it has added sodium and we will be adding our own balanced salts to the recipe.
3 Tbsp (45 ml) milk of magnesia (find a brand that only contains magnesium hydroxide and purified water. The “active” ingredient should only be magnesium hydroxide Mg (OH)2 . The “inactive” ingredient should only be purified water. One tablespoon should have 500 mg of Mg). Most brands have added ingredients including flavors, sweeteners, artificial colors, and even sodium hydroxide, which is household bleach). Generic brands are typically the ones without these added ingredients. Four brands we are aware of that do not contain added ingredients are: Kroger, Good Sense, Dollar General and TopCare – look for the original flavor of all of these. Check the label carefully.

1. Shake and measure 3 tablespoons (45 ml) of milk of magnesia (MoM); use the plastic measuring cup that comes with the MoM.
2. Without agitating it, open the chilled bottle of carbonated water. When the initial fizzing settles down (but don’t wait too long) slowly add the MoM and tightly re-cap the bottle to minimize loss of CO2.
3. Shake and set aside for about a half hour. The bottle will harden as the reaction proceeds—then as it nears completion, the sides of the plastic bottle will cave in.   Mg(OH)2 + 2CO2 ↔ Mg(HCO3)2.
4. After a half hour, shake again and store in the refrigerator.
5. When the liquid clears, (typically within another 20-30 minutes) all the magnesium hydroxide in the MoM should have reacted with the CO2 to become concentrated magnesium bicarbonate water with approximately 1500 mg of magnesium and approximately 7500 mg of bicarbonate. Sometimes, depending on the amount of CO2 that escapes during the addition of MoM, there may be a small amount of un-dissolved magnesium in the bottom of the container. Don’t worry about it.
6. (also see alternate step 6 below ) To make a gallon of dilute magnesium bicarbonate water suitable for drinking, start with about a half gallon of structured water (made according to the methods described in the book, Dancing with Water). NOTE: For this purpose, water with a low mineral content (<50 ppm) is best because other minerals tend to compete with the complete reaction of magnesium and CO2. Also, calcium competes with magnesium for absorption and most water sources today have a high concentration of calcium. Transfer 1/3 liter of the magnesium bicarbonate concentrate (333 ml) into the container and add balancing salts—either of the following:
• 2Tbsp Ocean Plasma
• 1/2 tsp Blue Ocean Minerals
• 1 tsp saturated salt solution made with any natural unprocessed salt
Fill the gallon container to the top with more structured water and allow to mature overnight. Buffers actually stabilize the structure of the water but it takes time for the liquid crystalline matrix to develop after the addition of the magnesium bicarbonate concentrate. The final solution contains about 130 mg/l of magnesium and 665 mg/l of bicarbonates. Depending on the source of water used for dilution, the pH will end up being between 8.0 and 8.5.

6. Alternate method
As discussed in Dancing with Water, the more refined the structure of the water becomes, the greater its capacity to communicate signals and information through its liquid crystalline matrix. The Water Cradle as well as Earth Resonance (ER) containers made usingparamagnetic materials, refine water’s structure to a greater degree than other methods of structuring water. When magnesium bicarbonate concentrate is added to water that is refined in the Water Cradle or in an ER container, you can use less of the magnesium bicarbonate concentrate and still benefit from the same effect (because the bicarbonate and the magnesium are more completely absorbed in the body, and because their resonance is communicated at deeper levels).

To make a less concentrated/ more bio-available dilution, add 1 ounce (2 Tbsp) of the concentrate from above to ½ gallon of structured water. (You can use slightly less than an ounce in the Water Cradle since it holds 7 cups). Add balancing salts
• 1 Tbsp Ocean Plasma
• 1/4 tsp Blue Ocean Minerals
• 1/2 tsp saturated salt solution made with any natural unprocessed salt
Allow the water to mature for 4 to 5 days in either the Water Cradle or in an ER container before consumption. Drink the same amount of this water as you would with the first method.

How much/when to take
Dr. Beckett has recommended two levels of consumption—a therapeutic and a maintenance level. The therapeutic dose is 2 liters/day on an empty stomach at least 45 minutes before a meal. The maintenance dose is ½ liter/day.
Most people should build up to the therapeutic dose – taking 2 or more weeks to get to the 2 liters/day level. Start with 500 ml (1/2 liter)/ day. Break this into 2 does and take one first thing in the morning (or even when you get up at night to go to the bathroom if your morning is rushed) – then later in the day before a meal or before bed – always on an empty stomach. If you take the magnesium bicarbonate water with food, the bicarbonates will be neutralized (and of little therapeutic value) by the stomach acid that is produced when food is ingested.
Depending on age and health, take the therapeutic dose for six months to a year, then reduce to the maintenance level. You may also want to take the therapeutic dose for 2-3 weeks out of each year thereafter.

Note: For people with the rare illnesses of Bartter syndrome or Gitelman syndrome, bicarbonate may be contraindicated.

Azumar: Stone for the New Consciousness

Azumar-2In February 2013 a new stone was discovered in Arizona.  Made of quartz and kaolinite, the stone has a robin’s egg blue/turquoise hue containing waves of color from green-blue to deep teal,  depending on the trace mineral content.  The stone’s name (Azumar) comes from the words, “azure” (associated with the color of the sky, and the color of tropical water), and the word “mare” (ocean).

The discovery of Azumar coincides with a time of awakening and rejoicing on the Earth. It is no accident that this stone resonates with water and that it awakens ancient codes for joyful  living. Robert Simmons, author of the book, Stones of the New Consciousness says of Azumar:

There is an unmistakable watery feel to the flow of Azumar’s currents, …that energy transforms the body’s inner ocean to a moving sea of rhythmic bliss.  It is as if the liquid within us comes alive with joy and enhanced awareness. …It’s currents wash through the Liquid Crystal Body Matrix, bringing refreshment, joy and rejuvenation to every cell.  …This is one of the most powerful stones I have encountered for personal evolution and the enhancement of consciousness.

Azumar’s waves of energy gently sweep through the human body leaving a wake of joy and bliss.  In the presence of the stone, the physical body relaxes;  the emotional body lets go; and the spiritual body rejoices.

On a physical level,  Azumar supports changes in our evolving DNA as it restructures the water within the entire body. From this perspective, Azumar accelerates change and helps the body to assimilate new “Earth information” being transmitted by the Sun and other celestial bodies of light.

On an emotional level, Azumar supports the release of anger, fear, frustration and other lower emotions, replacing these with serenity, confidence and joy.  Azumar stabilizes emotional trauma by raising the frequency of the body’s internal water.  Long-held emotional patterns that are no longer necessary for a person’s evolution, are dissolved and released.

On a spiritual level, Azumar connects us with the joyful  flow of life, helping the human family to remember who we are as we take our place in the web of life. Azumar promises to teach us how to be like a drop of water—individual yet “at one” in the ocean of life. According to Robert Simmons, Azumar is an Earth Spirit stone  helping individuals to feel and harmonize with planetary consciousness. It aids the joyful expression of one’s deepest truth and encourages communion with the Soul of the World. As such, it stimulates the process of enlightenment.

Azumar and Water

One of the purposes of the book, Dancing with Water (and the accompanying website) is to help bring about a conscious connection with water—at a level where people can experience water every day with renewed, gratitude. Azumar comes at a perfect time to assist in this endeavor. The stone is grounded in the Earth’s water and connected with the World Soul.  It assists in the conscious connection with water and it also assists in connecting us with the entire natural world.  In the authors’ experience, the longer a person works with Azumar and/or drinks water infused with its energy, the more s(he) becomes connected with the natural way of things—the joyful flow of life.  Azumar is a stone for our time—awakening us to joyful living through our connection with the natural flow of water and of all life.

How to use Azumar to structure/enhance water
Azumar is similar to blue topaz in its immediate effects on water’s structure – BUT with a much higher vibration. Rough or raw Azumar exposes water to wave-like pulsations that rapidly organize water’s energy field  bringing  a refined molecular structure and codes for joyful living to the water. Drinking water  made with Azumar structures the water in the human body and carries ancient codes for joyful living deep into the cellular matrix. The body responds with relaxation and a feeling of profound joy. Polished Azumar  carries a gentler energy into the water, taking longer to infuse structure but producing a more calming water that is ideal for meditation.

Azumar should be placed around (at the base of) a water vessel. It should not be placed directly in your water.  Within minutes, the water is imprinted – however, patterns are more coherently  congealed when the energy is allowed to “mature” for a longer period of time.

Azumar2 smallAzumar sphere2 smallThe authors of Dancing with Water suggest a group of six small, rough stones spaced evenly around any water vessel and left for several hours or overnight. You can amplify the energy using quartz crystals, a Tensor ring, triskelions, or orgonite.  Ideally, the combination of orgonite and a tensor ring, amplify and protect the developing energy field.

Deuterium-depleted water: What is it?

hydrogen vs deuteriumDeuterium is an isotope of hydrogen that contains a proton and a neutron in the nucleus of the atom. The extra neutron doubles the mass of the hydrogen atom.

It is well-known that due to its mass difference, deuterium (D) behaves differently from hydrogen in chemical reactions (called the isotope effect). In other words, deuterium can, in some ways, be considered as an independent element. When deuterium combines with oxygen, the resulting water is referred to as deuterium oxide or “heavy” water –D2O.  Semi-heavy water results when one atom of hydrogen and one atom of deuterium combine with oxygen: (HDO). Water made with deuterium tastes and looks the same but has numerous distinguishing characteristics. For example:

  • Normal water boils at 100° C;  heavy water boils at 101.4 °C

    heavy water

Left: Ice in normal water; Right: Ice in Heavy water

  • Normal water freezes at 0° C;  heavy water freezes at 3.8° C.
  • Ice normally floats on the surface of water;  ice made with heavy water sinks.

Gilbert Lewis was the first to produce a pure sample of heavy water in the 1930s. He accurately predicted it’s toxic effects on living organisms. His experiments showed that while tobacco seeds placed in typical water sprouted over the course of two weeks, those placed in D2O did not sprout at all. Tobacco seeds in 50/50 D2O sprouted— slowly. Subsequent experiments on cell cultures and living organisms determined  that increasing the deuterium concentration of the water in an organism could disturb normal cell function. Higher concentrations were lethal. While all this was interesting, most scientists considered deuterium to be so scarce that the study of its biological effects were ignored until the 1990s.

Is deuterium really scarce?

On average, one out of every 6400 atoms of hydrogen is deuterium—the equivalent of one or two drops in a quart of water.  That might seem like a small proportion—until you consider the amount of hydrogen in living matter. One out of every 6400 atoms translates to a mass of deuterium five times greater than the mass of calcium in human blood.  When scientists began to look at deuterium from this perspective, they became more interested in its biological significance.

Deuterium and DNA

Although mainstream researchers have overlooked the long term effects of low-level deuterium, research indicates that deuterium is coupled with DNA mutation and subsequent DNA damage. Deuterium affects the shape of molecules, including the shape of enzymes—many of which are involved in DNA synthesis and repair. The presence of deuterium in these enzymes slows DNA replication, it causes errors in transcription, and it hinders DNA repair.

Deuterium also has an effect on biological processes through the mechanism of hydrogen bonding. The bonds created by deuterium are stronger than normal hydrogen bonds. Tighter deuterium bonding stiffens proteins and requires more energy to break during metabolic reactions. Hydrogen bonds play a major role in DNA structure and are responsible for its helical shape. The class of enzymes and proteins that play a role in DNA replication and repair make extensive use of hydrogen bonds—another reason deuterium has negative effects on DNA.

Deuterium also interferes with normal proton movement in any proton channel—including the channels involved in ATP (energy) production. Its presence causes the mechanism to “stutter”  reducing efficiency. With normal concentrations of deuterium, the “stutter” happens about once every 15 seconds in every proton channel. Multiplied by the millions of proton channels in a living organism, this approaches monumental proportions. Given these affects (and others), deuterium is now thought to play an important role in the progression of disease and aging.

Deuterium and Aging

The most widely accepted theory on aging supposes that the aging process is correlated with a gradual accumulation of errors in DNA.  According to Kirk Goodall, a senior member of the technical staff with NASA, the number of irreversible errors in the DNA sequence is directly influenced, by deuterium.  The lower the deuterium concentration, the lower the frequency of the irreversible errors in DNA structures.

Biological effects of deuterium-depleted water (DDW)

Since water is a major source of hydrogen, and since most living organisms are 50 – 75% water, scientists have begun to investigate the effects of deuterium-depleted water—water with a reduced amount of deuterium. Discoveries in the last fifteen years have been groundbreaking.   The biological effects of deuterium-depleted water (DDW), sometimes referred to as “light” water, have been highlighted in dozens of studies conducted on plants, animals and humans. Experiments on plants show a general increase in growth and productivity—up to 200%.  Experiments with chickens lead to a 50% decrease in mortality and a near doubling in egg production. Experiments with mice revealed increased life expectancy and an increase in sexual activity. Ten years of research and clinical trials on humans in Hungary by Dr. Gábor Somlyai and his colleges have identified positive effects of DDW in treating diabetes and many types of cancer. His book, Defeating Cancer: The Biological Effect of Deuterium Depletion, chronicles the work. Not only does the consumption of DDW affect the progression of many diseases and metabolic disorders (including hypertension, obesity, and diabetes), according to research conducted in Russia, it also positively affects energy production and  immune function. A growing body of evidence shows DDW stimulates skin regeneration, reduces inflammation and slows aging. It also mitigates the damaging effects of radiation (nausea, pain, hair loss).

What is deuterium-depleted water?

All natural water contains deuterium. Most water contains about 150 ppm. Water with a concentration less than 130 ppm is considered deuterium-depleted. According to clinical work conducted in Hungary, Japan and Russia, even this seemingly small reduction in deuterium content can have a significant influence on a number of health parameters. Studies conducted with concentrations between 25 and 125 ppm –all show response.

Natural deuterium depletion

Since evaporation favors hydrogen over the heavier deuterium, water vapor is lower in deuterium. (Deuterium evaporates last and condenses first.)  In areas where there is a greater degree of evaporation (equator and deserts) the deuterium content of the surface water is high. On the other hand, where there is less evaporation (polar regions and mountains) the deuterium concentration of the surface water is lower. Natural deuterium concentration depends on a number of factors:

  • Temperature/Season— Water in cold climates contains less deuterium than water in warmer climates. Winter precipitation contains less deuterium than summer precipitation.
  • Water source (fresh vs. ocean)—Oceans contain more deuterium than fresh water. The deuterium concentration in the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean remains fairly constant at 156 ppm. Polar oceans have a much lower concentration.
  • Altitude—Water at high altitudes has less deuterium. Water from the Rocky mountains in Western United States has been measured with 136 ppm deuterium.
  • Distance from coastline—Heavier water precipitates first so the surface water along western coastlines contains more deuterium than inland areas.
  • Distance from the equator—Equatorial waters contain more deuterium than water at the poles. Water from Antarctic ice measures 90 ppm deuterium and water beneath the Sahara desert measure 180 ppm deuterium.

Organisms in various parts of the world tend to have deuterium concentrations comparable to the water in the area. However, both plants and animals maintain a lower deuterium concentration than the surrounding surface water. This indicates that organisms have a preference for a deuterium-depleted status. In fact, the water produced in the body (referred to as metabolic water) is deuterium depleted.

Is Hunza water Deuterium-depleted?

In the 1960s, a team of Soviet scientists studied two populations in different parts of the world whose members lived to old age in a very healthful conditions. The living habits of both populations were different, including their diet, but they had one thing in common: both populations drank glacial water with a significantly lower deuterium concentration. This is interesting in light of the fact that the Hunza region in Pakistan has also been studied for years in an attempt to identify a reason(s) for  its long-lived, healthy population. Inhabitants of the Hunza Valley live to be in their 90s while maintaining an active lifestyle. This has always been attributed to their water (glacial). Everything about Hunza water has been studied over the years: mineral content, molecular structure, colloidal status, zeta potential, etc. but no one has considered the deuterium content of the water—until now. Hunza water is naturally deuterium depleted—estimated to be about 133 ppm deuterium. According to recent studies, this reduced deuterium concentration is enough to  make a difference in numerous health parameters.

Why drink deuterium-depleted water (DDW) ?

Research shows that consumption of DDW gradually reduces the deuterium concentration in the human body. Over a period of weeks and months, consumption of DDW allows the body to expel excessive deuterium from the body. This could reduce the ongoing, adverse effects of deuterium (ie. DNA errors during replication and repair). At the same time, a number of health parameters may improve.  Dr. Somlyai’s work in Hungary revealed that healthy cells respond well to reduced amounts of deuterium in water. However, cells with chromosomal mutations (cancer) are more sensitive to deuterium depletion. Cancer cells, particularly tumor cells, cannot adapt quickly resulting in tumor regression without any side effects on healthy cells. Dr. Somlyia and his colleagues also studied DDW for metabolic disorders—particularly diabetes—with favorable results. From another perspective, It makes sense that water with a reduced deuterium content may have the capacity to transmit information more clearly. The extra neutron may create a “pucker” in the liquid crystalline matrix that is involved with information storage and transfer.

Where to get DDW

qlariviaIn Hungary and Romania, where DDW has been researched in clinical trials for over 10 years, (and where it is an accepted treatment for cancer) bottled DDW is widely available. Western Europe also has a product in several different deuterium concentrations.  But in the U.S. there is currently no one producing DDW with a significantly reduced concentration. You can buy deuterium-depleted water with approximately 2 ppm from chemical stores but the cost is prohibitive at $100.00 for 100 ml. A product called Qlarivia, with an exceptionally low deuterium concentration (25 ppm) is now available. Although it is expensive, the authors of Dancing with Water have found it to be exceptional. In their experience, one cup on a daily basis (when structured and refined by methods advocated in the book, has provided many benefits.  The results of 3 case studies where participants drank 1 cup of 25 ppm deuterium-depleted water for 4 months, were presented at the International Conference on the Physics, Chemistry and Biology of Water in Bulgaria 2016. Watch the video below. Note: The audio on the first 5 minutes of the video is not good due to a poor Skype connection but after that point the audio is better.

An international patent search reveals that DDW is being incorporated in a variety of food preparations, including beer and soy sauce, for the purpose of improving health. It is also being used in the formulation of skin care products with success on many skin conditions. You can use DDW in your tea, soups and other food preparations. It can also be incorporated in a variety of  homemade personal care products.

The Golden Age of Water — a quote by Michael Flomer

The Twentieth Century belonged to Albert Einstein. The Twenty-first Century (and beyond) belongs to Viktor Schauberger. The end of the Mayan calender is the Beginning of the Golden Age of Water! Without water, Our Universe would be void of all life. The meaning of Life, is to Live. To Live is to Love. Love is the Ocean of Infinite Possibilities. Water is the  universal medium that makes all things possible. When we embrace hatred, we defile the very foundation and sanctity of Love and Life, and our world becomes a desolate wasteland. So embrace water as you would a newborn child. When we extend our hand for a glass of the refreshing Waters of Life we are asking our Beloved, “May I have this Dance?—Michael Flomer

Thank you, Michael for this poetic expression of love for water!

Making Crystal Grids to Heal the Earth and her Water

Crystal Grids are arrangements of crystals or stones that create a continuous flow of energy for a specific purpose. They are used for healing and manifestation—both on a personal level and on a global or more universal scale. They are often used to magnify, focus and/or prolong a treatment using energy work such as Reiki . Some grids are simple circles; others are based on sacred geometry like The Flower of Life, the Mercaba, or other symbol. Grids can be large structures placed on the ground. Examples of this kind of grid are: Stonehenge, labyrinths, and Native American medicine wheels. Grids can also be placed on a person during a healing session. The crystal grids we refer to in this article are dedicated to Earth healing.

The creation of a crystal grid begins with the intention to use the elements from Mother Earth to focus energy for healing. Allowing your creative intuition to guide you, crystals, stones, or other symbols and objects are selected and placed to generate an energy grid useful to Mother Earth as she re-aligns her energetic grid (happening now). These grids typically end up being a work of art that is both functional and enchantingly beautiful. Those who are drawn to make them often receive guidance even when they are not aware of it. The authors have found that triskelions and tensor rings augment the energy of grids. They have made many grids for home and garden.

There is no right or wrong way to make a crystal grid. Some people place grids directly on the ground or on a table. Most are placed on a plate, a tile, or a cloth. Clay, glass, wood, and stone are good natural bases for a grid. Crystals, stones and other objects can be placed directly on the base surface or the base can be filled with sand, earth, small pebbles, or other natural material. Grids can be as simple as the one you see pictured in the center, above, made in a ceramic, divided sauce dish filled with sand containing a large amount of biotite mica (see page 160 of Dancing with Water for more information on the properties of biotite mica) and tiny flakes of muscovite mica (used to make laminar crystal objects), accented with two, 12 mm quartz crystal balls and surrounded with a tensor ring. Although simple, this grid is very powerful. It is dedicated to harmony and balance (a major theme throughout the book, Dancing with Water). It is intended to help balance both the Earth and the elements in the life of one of the authors.

Ocean grid (sand, shells, crystals, stones, triskelions, in a terracotta saucer)

Ocean grid (sand, Himalayan salt, coral, driftwood, sand dollars, fossil shell, mother of pearl beads, biwa pearl necklace, larimar stone, aquamarine crystal, rose quartz spere, ocean jasper, quartz crystals, silver triskelions, fishing float

Grids are often made with clear quartz crystals alone because of the capacity of quartz crystals to amplify energy. Other grids use a combination of quartz and other stones and crystals, and some may not use quartz at all. Both authors have discovered that they had many things around the house they could use—without spending money. Sand was collected from nearby rivers and streams. Rocks and crystals from their personal collections were used. When they encountered the idea of creating ocean grids to help heal the Earth’s oceans, they were surprised at the things they found: a tiny piece of driftwood and sand dollars saved from a trip to the beach; sea shells, mother of pearl beads, a piece of coral, and even an old fishing float placed in a dish of natural salt. Use what you have.

Other examples of grids, below, show a small ceramic plate filled with ANCHI Crystals and topped with a large, copper triskelion (8 gauge wire) and 3 stones. The other grids, intended to nourish the garden environment, were placed directly on the Earth. Notice that the triskelions in one of these grids have been twisted. This changes their energy and makes them particularly nourishing for plants.

If you are drawn to, we encourage you to make your own grid(s) and to dedicate them to the Earth and/or her oceans. The process of making them is calming and regenerative; they are an asset for any home or garden; they honor the Earth, and they enhance the environment in which they are placed. Somehow, making them brings out the creative spirit in everyone.

You will want to place your grid in a location where it is not easily disturbed and dedicate it to the healing of the Earth (or ocean). Have fun!

The New Science is Older than the Earth Herself

The book, Dancing with Water discusses the New Science of Water, but what is “New Science?” The term, New Science, as it is used on this website, is really a very Old Science, more ancient than the Earth herself. It encompasses a path of wisdom that works in harmonious balance with the natural systems of the Earth. The New Sciences evolving at this time acknowledge the living nature of Mother Earth—the knowledge that the Earth is an integrated whole, a complex, self-regulating system that is, in fact, a part of an even larger cosmic “whole.”

Our current technology has evolved in isolation from this ancient, Old Science. As such, it is an artificial world that forces us to exist outside the web of life. The consequences of this are evident everywhere.  Also evident are signs that this artificial reality is slowly falling apart—giving way to the New Science—and making it possible to come full circle back into harmonious balance with Mother Nature and the web of life.

Dr. Emoto’s Prayer for the Water at the Fukushima Nuclear Plants

Dr. Emoto issued a request of the global community to join him in prayer for the water at the Fukushima nuclear plants in Japan. He also asked John Joseph to record the prayer with The Music of Water from his new CD, as the voice of the water. We include the prayer and the music below along with Dr. Emoto’s official letter of request. Please take a minute to join the world community in a wave of prayer today (March 31st 2011) at noon wherever you are.

To all the people around the world:

Please send your prayers of love and gratitude to water at the nuclear plants in Fukushima, Japan!
By the massive earthquakes of Magnitude 9 and surreal massive tsunamis, more than 10,000 people are still missing…even now… It has been 16 days already since the disaster happened. What makes it worse is that water at the reactors of Fukushima Nuclear Plants started to leak, and it’s contaminating the ocean, air and water molecule of surrounding areas.

Human wisdom has not been able to do much to solve the problem, but we are only trying to cool down the anger of radioactive materials in the reactors by discharging water to them.

Is there really nothing else to do?

I think there is. During over twenty year research of hado measuring and water crystal photographic technology, I have been witnessing that water can turn positive when it receives pure vibration of human prayer no matter how far away it is.

Energy formula of Albert Einstein, E=MC2 really means that Energy = number of people and the square of people’s consciousness.

Now is the time to understand the true meaning. Let us all join the prayer ceremony as fellow citizens of the planet earth. I would like to ask all people, not just in Japan, but all around the world to please help us to find a way out the crisis of this planet!!
The prayer procedure is as follows.

Day and Time:
March 31st, 2011 (Thursday)
12:00 noon in each time zone

Please say the following phrase:
“The water of Fukushima Nuclear Plant,
we are sorry to make you suffer.
Please forgive us. We thank you, and we love you.”

Please say it aloud or in your mind. Repeat it three times as you put your hands together in a prayer position. Please offer your sincere prayer.

Thank you very much from my heart.

With love and gratitude,
Masaru Emoto

How to Make Sun and Moon Water

Water was designed to carry the Sun’s sub-atomic nutrients (sound and color vibrations) to all living things. It was also meant to carry the cosmic energy of the moon, stars, and planets. This is referred to as The Music of the Spheres.  Structuring the water first (as described in Chapter 11 of Dancing with Water) makes it more receptive to imprinting but simply placing water in the Sun or Moon will imprint the water to a certain degree. Start with the best water you have (filtered, purified, reverse osmosis etc.) structure it, and follow the directions below.

Making Sun water
When making water in the sunlight, place it in a glass container directly on the Earth. This way, the gentler Earth frequencies will balance the strong solar energy. Depending on the position and strength of the sun, leave it exposed for no more than 10-30 minutes. (Direct sunlight on standing water will eventually rob it of its energy.) Drinking water that has been placed in the sunlight is a wonderful way to get the vibratory energy of the complete color spectrum. It is also very energizing.

Making Moon water
Setting water out on the night of the full moon creates water that carries the feminine energy of the full moon. If you want to lengthen the influence of the full moon (or of a particular full moon) in your life, this is a good way to do it.  To program your water with the energy of the moon, stars, and planets, choose a clear night (it does not have to be a full moon). Place your covered, glass or egg-shaped clay container directly on the Earth in a place where it will receive the full night sky. (Glass allows the light of the moon and stars to penetrate the water better but the shape of the egg gathers cosmic frequencies just as efficiently—if not more so.) Use crystals, triskelions, Tensor Rings or another method to amplify the energy (see Dancing with Water pages 156-158). The longer you can leave it out the better, but one or two hours will work–especially if there are no clouds. Remember to bring it in before the sun comes up. Drinking this water will help you adapt to seasonal changes as well as to the energy shifts that are taking place on the Earth.

Moon water has been used by many cultures to bring the feminine essence of water into the physical body. According to Carla Goddard, Shaman and Medicine Woman, Mayan, Aztec and Incan people drank full moon water first thing in the morning for nine consecutive days to honor the nine spirits of healing and the nine cycles. You may want to do the same.

A note on structuring and tools: A copper triskelion has been placed on the lid of the terracotta egg to amplify cosmic frequencies coming into the water. The egg rests in a granite bowl which helps connect the water to the Earth as well as to amplify the energetic input.  The 5-gallon glass container is closed with a cork so the water can breathe. It is surrounded by a large Tensor Ring to amplify cosmic frequencies. It also has two triskelions attached to the outer vessel (one on the top in the front – the other on the bottom in back.  Prior to placing the water into these vessels, it was treated with Prills to clear the water of  negative imprints and then allowed to sit overnight with Laminar crystal and ANCHI Crystals. The water in the terracotta egg-shaped vessel was structured using a stirring wand and the addition of QMP as a “salt” additive. The water in the glass container was treated in the same way and structured in the Vitalizer Plus with the addition of Blue Ocean Minerals as a “salt” additive. These are just 2 methods for structuring water. Chapter 11 in Dancing with Water is devoted entirely to teaching you a variety of methods to structure your water.

Our Stewardship with Water

The book, Dancing with Water establishes a scientific basis for many water treatments that will support our health and healing. It also has another, perhaps deeper, message. In order to heal, we must become conscious stewards of the water on the planet. Do you remember the expression, “What goes around comes around?” Have you considered how this applies to water? Because water cycles on the Earth, every person must eventually come to grips with the fact that what he or she puts into the water eventually comes back to us. If the substances we put in water are toxic, we become more toxic. In a very real sense, we are filters for the water (and the air) on Earth. An awareness of our stewardship and a resulting reverence for water (and all life) will ultimately free us from toxins and allow us to live in greater harmony as a global community.
