Water holds many secrets; they are fully available to those who connect and ask.
On several occasions, Viktor Schauberger discussed insights he received when he was able to allow his consciousness to merge with the Spirit of Water. Through this direct connection, he gained profound wisdom into the nature of water as a living presence. Decades of observation assisted him in comprehending many of water’s mysteries and in accomplishing many “impossible” feats. From his writings in Implosion Magazine, No.67, he discusses his process:
I could sit for hours on end and watch the water flowing by without ever becoming tired or bored. At the time I was still unaware that in water lay hidden the greatest secret. Nor did I know that water was the carrier of life or the ur-source of what we call consciousness. Without any preconceptions, I simply let my gaze fall on the water as it flowed past. Only years later did I come to realize that running water attracts our consciousness like a magnet and draws a small part of it along in its wake. It is a force that can act so powerfully that one temporarily loses consciousness and involuntarily falls asleep. Gradually I began… surrendering my free consciousness and allowing the water to take possession of it for a while. Little by little… I realized that one could detach one’s own consciousness from the body and attach it to that of the water. …The water’s most deeply concealed psyche often revealed the most extraordinary things to me.
Viktor was a unique and gifted man, yet the ability to connect with the Spirit of Water is not limited to only a gifted few. Many are now connecting with water and with other aspects of Nature in their own unique ways. As we do this, water will once again share her mysteries and we will be able to solve many problems (from radiation and pollution in the oceans to detoxifying our personal bodies). The authors of Dancing with Water believe it is time for each individual to step to the dance floor and reach out to water in a personal way—to connect at the level of consciousness or spirit. Melanie Evans has always been closely connected to water and to Nature. She has this to say about how to make the connection with water:
I encourage you to be still near bodies of water. Allow yourself to become fluid and it will be much easier to connect with the consciousness of water. As I am open to the connection, I have noticed that the energy of water fills the shape of my personal energy field. I always know the moment of connection because I feel an expansion within myself and I feel more than my usual awareness. I am also aware that the water and I become a reflection of each other at that moment. It is as though we see through the same eyes. Connecting with water in this way opens the doorway to so many possibilities for personal and global change. I encourage you to make the connection.
Melanie also shares this personal experience:
Some time ago I purchased a CD of whale sounds. When I played it for the first time, I was in the kitchen. I was in a flurry of activity preparing for a trip—definitely not in a meditative space. What happened was both a surprise and a delight. As soon as the whale songs began to play, all the water in the room responded with a burst of joy. I stopped in my tracks and got still as I listened to the water in my gravity filter express its joy and love for the whale songs. Soon there were other energies that arrived to be with the water in this state of joy and love. Little elemental beings of light danced in and out of the water and I was witness to a literal party going on in my kitchen. Now I often play whale songs and other sounds of Nature to the water. They are all so wonderful and I enjoy the energetic change it brings into my whole home. And whenever possible, I like to put my Water Cradle outside so it can be exposed to the songs of crickets, frogs and bees. Water loves all of these; drinking the water helps keep us in balance with the seasons and cycles of life.
MJ shares this personal experience:
The water was cold when I brought in the Aladdin carafe that had spent the night under the stars. I held it to my heart briefly before putting it on the table. Then I turned on the music and began my morning dance/exercise routine. Spinning to the music, the water on the table caught my attention and I became aware of the consciousness of this special water. In the same moment I watched (in my mind’s eye) as the Spirit of the Water rose from the carafe and hovered above it. With a smile, I offhandedly said out loud, “So you’re the real Genie in the bottle.” Realizing what I had said, I thought to myself, “Water that is intentionally imprinted is very potent , and water is literally the Genie, waiting to be asked how to be of service.” I realized why the Spirit of Water was still hovering over the carafe. She was waiting for my 3 wishes! The water I had placed under the night sky the previous evening had been filled with the essence of the cosmos and now it was ready to receive my intentions. Continuing to dance, I gathered my thoughts; then I voiced my intention. As soon as the words were uttered, the Spirit of the Water gracefully dropped back down into the vessel and I knew the water had received my heartfelt desire. Drinking this water throughout the remainder of the day I was reminded of the power of water and conscious intention.
Water holds many secrets—yet they are fully available to those who connect and ask. As the authors of Dancing with Water embarked on research for the second edition of the book, they set their intention to inspire its readers with the desire to make a more personal connection with water – they made it their number one goal. We share these experiences now to further inspire you. Water is waiting to show us how to dance the dance of life with greater harmony and abundance. Is it time for you to join the dance?
